Hey everyone! Sorry it has been a while since the last blog, and I would like to try to keep this on a weekly basis till the end of this spring quarter. So for this week's encouragement is an article on how Christians in the military could possibly lose their right to exercise their faith by telling other people about how Jesus died on the cross for everyone's sins and that they can be forgiven if they repent and believe in Christ. Here is the link . Also, check out Pastor Kevin's note beneath the article.
Furthermore, next week there will be two Bible studies one on Tuesday (5/28) and another on Friday (5/31). Both start at 1 o'clock in the BSC cafeteria near the coffee stand. Stop by if you can make it. After Tuesday's study, we'll go witnessing around the college. On Thursday (5/30), there are plans to have a sport event/ potluck at Evergreen Park in Bremerton at 4 o'clock. Feel free to come by and play and bring any snack, dish, or side dish. Hope to see you there at any of next week's events.

Second Post for Spring Quarter 2013
Hey everybody! Looks like the club has finally got a set schedule. We meet up for Bible studies on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1 o'clock in the BSC cafeteria near the coffee stand. If you got any questions, call or text Philip at 360-551-5716. This Tuesday we just started digging into the book of Zephaniah (after finishing up the book of Jonah last Tuesday). This Friday we are still continuing our study in John.
If you cannot make it to either of these, look out for the weekly encouragements that I post such as this one http://calvarypo.org/HANDS/0999.pdf If I were to sum up this encouragement it would be the statement that Paul made to the Corinthians: "And, I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God."(2 Corinthians 2:1-5).
Also, this Thursday we will be playing Frisbee and having a potluck at OC's top field and it will start at 4 o'clock. We will probably post some pictures of the event. Furthermore, if you would like to join a group that does a prayer walk around the campus, meet up with them tomorrow at the flagpole at 3:00 this Thursday! On that note, hope you guys can make it to the Bible studies or other events.
